I met the tour group and our lovely guide Linda late Tuesday afternoon (May 14).  She gave us a neighborhood orientation and then led us to our get-acquainted dinner.

The next morning we took the Metro to the Latin Quarter where we got our first glimpse of the wounded Notre Dame.  As a group we visited the jewel-box of Sainte Chapelle and then broke up for an afternoon on our own.  Thanks to the Museum Pass, I took in the Cluny, the Rodin, Napoleon's tomb, and a bit more of the Louvre.
